Our sports medicine physician, Dr. Doulens, provides comprehensive evaluation and care of the injured athlete from the professional level to the weekend warrior. We care for athletes of all ages. Dr. Doulens has been fellowship trained in the field of orthopaedic sports medicine and reconstructive shoulder surgery. He is committed to advancing the science and care of the injured athlete by performing original research and educating resident physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other providers in the community and throughout the country.
Dr. Michael Patney is an expert in joint replacement surgery. Prior to joining First Coast Orthopedics, he was on faculty at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he handled the most difficult of cases referred to him from other physicians in Jacksonville, North Florida, and Georgia. He is recognized for his skills in handling complex revision surgeries and reconstructions. His level of expertise also allows him to perform the highest quality primary joint replacements and achieve high levels of patient satisfaction. He is also committed to research and education, and has trained many orthopedic residents in joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Henry has been an orthopedic surgeon in Orange Park for nearly 30 years and has built a tremendous reputation and following in the community. He specializes in adult joint reconstruction and replacement of the hips and knees. Additionally, he also practices general orthopedics and trauma surgery. Dr. Henry serves as the Chairman of the Division of Orthopedics at Orange Park Medical Center.
